
Sheltered among the beautiful meanders of the Yantra River, lush meadows and bizarre rock formations, the picturesque village of Dzhulunitsa is located around 61km from the city of Ruse, 22 km southeast of Svishtov, and less than 125 km from the Bucharest airport. The area itself is characterized by well-developed infrastructure and also a place of cultural heritage and historical significance.
Dzhulunitsa is located in the North Central region of Rousse, Tsenovo Municipality. About 226 people live in the village, almost all are Orthodox christians. Its inhabitants will proudly show you around and tell wonderful stories of bygone times. The neighbor village of Belyanovo is located right across the eastern bank of the Yantra River, connected through a bridge built in WW2. Around 3-4km away from the village are located hills with remnants that date back to Roman rule. Nearby is the location of the “Markov Cross” area. The hills overlooking the river valley, provide absolutely stunning view.
The local customs and traditions find expression in the folklore formation “Schamrocks”.
The annual village fair is held during the last Sunday of October.
The property is located on a high southern slope in the village, with a beautiful view of the Yantra River valley . The main house is on one floor, with a glazed entrance hall and five rooms. There is a garage facing the street and three other outbuildings.
